After breakfast we will have an orientation session at the hotel. We will meet the trip's leaders, hosts, guides and local staff.
Drive north along the coastal plain to Caesarea, capital of Judea under the Romans. Visit the excavations of this ancient city, see the Roman theater and aqueduct, Herod's palace and much more.

From here we will continue north to Mount Carmel, we will reach the peak of the mount, the "Mukraka" we will enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of Valley of Jesrael - Armageddon. This is the location of Elijah's altar. Here Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal. We will drive Dalyat-el-Carmel of the Druze Community for a learning experience with leaders of the community. The Druze are a sacred tribe, originating from Islam, but now a distinctly different sect. They adhere to a fascinating code of ethics and spirituality within their tribal community. Our day ends in the picturesque city of Haifa – Center of the World Bahá'í.

This morning is devoted to the Bahá'í community – The Bahá'í, like the Druze, are also an off shoot of Islam. The religion started in Persia, now known as Iran. They were persecuted by the Muslims and found shelter in Israel. Now about 5 million believers world wide have their temple in Haifa. Three core principles establish a basis for Bahá'í teachings and doctrine: the unity of God, the unity of religion, and the unity of humankind. The temple and the gardens are one of the most beautiful sites in the entire world and the view here is breathtaking.

We will then drive to Acre, capital of the Crusaders for more than a century. Visit the ancient city, castle and the harbor before continuing eastwards across the plains of the Galilee. We then arrive at our hotel on the water edge of the Sea of Galilee.

We will start our day with a memorable boat ride across the Sea of Galilee. While cruising, we'll pause for a great interfaith praise and worship service right on the Sea of Galilee. We are sure to remember the many Gospel references in this area.


After docking at Ginosar, biblical Genesseret, we will visit the Primacy of Peter to see the area where Jesus asked Peter: "Lovest thou me?" Then we'll proceed to Capernaum to see the remains of an early church, the ruins of Peter's house, and the ancient synagogue. We will gather on the Mount of Beatitudes to read the Sermon on the Mount while overlooking the Sea of Galilee and have an on location teaching. We will also visit many of the places concerning the ministry of Jesus, including the place of the multiplication, waking on the water and much more.
Later in the afternoon we will meet at the Jordan River - Baptismal optional, or just swim the Jordan.... From here we will proceed to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

We will start our day with a visit the little town of Cana where Jesus turned the water into wine at the wedding feast. Ready to renew you wedding vow here? We will have just the right pastor at hand...
We continue to Nazareth to visit one of the world’s most panoramic sites, a view of the entire city of Nazareth, the valley of Armageddon, Mount Tabor of the transfiguration and the Gilboa range. This great vista is from the top of Mt. Precipice - the cliff where Jesus was chased away and was about to be thrown to his death by the worshipers at the synagogue. From here we will drive trough the Valley of Sharon ascending to the City of the Great King – Jerusalem! This evening we will partake in a most fervent “Kabalat Shabbat” service - the receiving of the Sabbath service at the Western Wall. Here we will mingle with thousands of Jerusalem Jews in praise & worship, this place is the only remnant of the temple atop Mt. Moriah. This is “a not to be missed event” where young and old worship in song and dance in a way most never experienced before. This will follow with a traditional Shabbat Dinner with our Jerusalem ministry members.

Today will start with a visit to the Mount of Olives for a breathtaking view of the city of Jerusalem. From here we will descend to the Garden of Getsemane and visit the Church of the Agony. From Getsemane we will travel the Jordan Valley via Jericho and will visit the Dead Sea area where Jesus spent time in solitude and the place of John the Baptist ministry. It is the deepest spot on earth, 1200 feet below sea level. We will visit Qumran where many of the Dead Sea Scrolls were found and the surrounding wilderness where Jesus roamed for 40 days.
We will climb or ride to the top of Masada, a mountain over-looking the Dead Sea. Masada was the last pocket of insurrection in the Jewish rebellion against the Roman Empire where 960 men, women and children defied the might of Rome and fought for three years after the destruction of Jerusalem. We will visit king Herod's Palace, the synagogue, and a very sophisticated water and irrigation systems 2000 years old. Later in the day a special treat awaits us as we go bathing in the heavy water of the Dead Sea. Then return to Jerusalem.

We will start our program with a visit the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are kept and the model of Jerusalem from the time of Jesus. We'll then proceed to Mount Zion to visit the Upper Room and the traditional Tomb of King David. This afternoon we visit the Southern Wall excavations. This southern side of The Temple was the main entrance for the common folk, whereas the Priests and Levites had their own entrance from the higher eastern side. Parts of the giant stairs, which led to the Temple Mount from the courtyard have been unearthed along with the purification pools. From here Jesus entered the Temple Mount and drove out the vendors and money changers who were exploiting the people. It is also likely that this is the place that Peter stood and preached and where thousands were saved and baptized on the Day of Pentecost.
From here we will trace the footsteps of Jesus in His last day, visiting on the way the Pool of Bethesda, Stephen's Gate and St. Ann's Church and on to the Via Dolorosa, the way of the agony and the Stations of the Cross. We are reminded of His way of suffering along with a visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. In the afternoon we will explore the old city bazaar .

We start the day with a presentation by members of the Ethiopian Jewish community in Israel who will meet us in our hotel. We will then visit their community and absorption center. Please see the "Ethiopian Jews" page: click here.
From here we will drive along the Jerusalem – Tel Aviv highway to Neve Shalom - Wahat al-Salam: a village in Israel established jointly by Jews and Palestinian Arabs of Israeli citizenship. They are deeply engaged in educational work for peace, equality and understanding between the two peoples. This is a real example of Unity, Harmony & Reconciliation in Action!

Here we will plant our own trees in the soil of Israel, so we will have our attachments and roots in this holy ground.

Early morning, we will travel a short distance to the Yad Va'Shem, a museum built in memory of the six million Jews murdered by the Nazis in World War II and also a commemoration the righteous gentiles who, by risking their own lives, rescued Jews from certain death. From Yad Vashem we will visit the site of Jesus empty tomb - The Garden Tomb which will be followed by a farewell dinner.
